Solar DCDB & ACDB
What is SOLAR AJB/DCDB & ACDB
A Solar Power generating system requires both ACDB and DCDB, which play crucial roles. Junction Boxes offer additional electrical protection to the solar system in case of failures. The Array Junction Box or DCDB facilitates the connection between the input string from the solar panels and the output string to the solar inverter. This box is tailored to match the solar inverter’s configurations, such as the number of strings of solar panels used in the layout of the Solar Power Plant. Additionally, it includes a surge protection device (SPD) to safeguard the system from surges caused by faults or other phenomena. Mounting the Array Junction Box or DCDB on a wall is a simple process. The ACBD operates within a temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius and can handle a maximum DC input of 1000V. It typically has 2 to 10 DC inputs and 1 DC output. The number of terminal blocks in the box can vary from 2 to 20. The operating conditions of the ACBD also fall within the -25 to 60 degrees Celsius temperature range. Furthermore, Junction Boxes have a design life of 25 years.
SOLAR AJB/DC Distribution Box
The Direct Current Distribution Box (DCDB) serves as a protective measure for the solar power generating system in the event of a fault occurring on the DC side. It is equipped with fuses that can be used to shut down the system in case of a fault. Additionally, the DC Distribution Box includes a surge protection device to safeguard the system from surges caused by faults or other phenomena.
AC Distribution Box
The Alternative Current Distribution Box (ACDB) is a crucial component of a Solar Power generating system, offering additional electrical protection during failures. The AC Distribution Box is equipped with various features such as 4 pole MCB, MCCB, terminals, voltage and current monitoring, among others. It also includes a surge protection device to ensure maximum protection for the electronic equipment involved. Furthermore, the AC Distribution Box incorporates an energy meter, providing valuable insights into the amount of energy generated from solar power. In the event of failures, the AC distribution box safeguards all phases on the AC side
